Lain and Rose Community Interest Company has been formed to benefit our communities within the South East of Kent, focusing on Kent and East Sussex.

The website will enable you to find details of all our projects, activities and services as well as news, upcoming events and photos. Lain and Rose is a Community Interest Company (Social Enterprise) registered in the UK.

The Company has been formed in memory of Brian & Barry Rose (the ‘Rose’ Twins) who lost their battles to cancer. In their youth, they were the founding members of Marden Social Interest Group (MSIG). This group organised some of the biggest carnival weeks in the South East! In addition to this they were both village businessman working in Marden.

Their portfolio of businesses include, West End Stores, The Farm Shop, Rose’s Flower Shop and Brian Rose Private Hire (just to name a few).

Now almost fifty years on from their event days, their grandson; Sam Lain established this Company to achieve some core objectives to continue their hard work.
